Role: Senior Instructional Designer & Lead Developer
The Challenge: Elite youth athletes face extreme performance pressures that often lead to disordered eating habits. IMG Academy needed a way to train hundreds of coaches to identify "invisible" symptoms and manage high-sensitivity conversations without causing further psychological harm.
The Solution: I developed a two-part learning ecosystem. First, a mobile-responsive Rise 360 course that uses research-backed spectrum models and interactive sorting activities to challenge assumptions. Second, I designed a Soft-Skills Roleplay Workshop where coaches practice real-world communication strategies with experts.
The Result: Implemented a data-driven approach to athlete wellness. I integrated longitudinal impact measurement via post-training surveys for coaches and sentiment analysis surveys for the student-athletes, ensuring the training translated into a measurably safer and more positive team culture.
