Role: Lead Instructional Designer & Developer
The Challenge: MSK launched a new timekeeping system that required salaried managers—who had never previously clocked in—to master a technically complex and unintuitive interface. We faced significant cultural resistance (Change Management) and a high risk of payroll errors due to the software's poor user experience.
The Solution: I designed a comprehensive, 100-page "Active Learning" guide that served as both a classroom manual and a desk-side reference. To bridge the gap, I integrated high-fidelity role-play scenarios where managers had to build "Real-World" schedules, resolve missed clockings, and manage critical payroll exceptions in a sandbox environment before the live rollout.
The Result: Successfully transitioned the management workforce to the new payroll standard with 100% compliance. The "Daily 3" methodology I developed reduced the time managers spent on timekeeping by 50% and ensured zero "odd clocking" critical exceptions remained by the payroll deadline.
